2008 Teens Against Cancer Fundraiser -a breakthrough in the lives of teens

After years of being guided by inolved parents, Teens Against Cancer teens finally took a bold step by taking on more responsibilites in organizing this year's fundraiser than past five years. Everyone involved in all sorts of fundraiser activities worked hard, had lots of fun, and learned many valuable lessons, which often came with making mistakes. After seeing the result of their tenacious efforts come together at the 2008 Teen Variety Show finale, Jennifer and all of her friends are looking forward to organizing next year's event.

Daily Breeze Article (8/28): TAC is very grateful to Daily Breeze for writing an article about the 2008 Teen Variety Show which helped to get the word out and sell most of 500 tickets to the Armstrong theater.

Reduced theater rental fee: Thanks to city of Torrance council members and the mayor along with an unexpected private donor....
